Glass Strip Cutter
Precision aluminum bridge on which cutting heads are mounted provides for rapid and accurate head positioning in either imperial or metric dimensions. Precision cutting heads with a special oil feed system provide smooth even cutting for easy breakout. Variable speed drive system allow cutting speeds up to 144 feet per minute. Unique conveyor system powers glass sheeting under cutting heads for Scoring.
The PTC Strip Cutter is ideal for production cutting of glass into uniform strips as thin as 1-1/2“ wide. The glass sheeting is power conveyed under the precision cutting bridge for scoring. Machine can cut glass sheeting from single strength to 1/4” thickness. Conveyor rollers are urethane coverd and line shaft driven by a variable speed drive. Precision cutting heads are designed and built for rapid and easy repositioning on the bridge. The machine frame and base is all welded steel construction.
